(ECNS)--The annual Cheung Chau Bun Festival, which features a bun-scrambling event, was held on May 22. The bun tower was 14 meters tall and hung with some 9,000 artificial buns. Participants competed by snatching buns on the top to get high marks. The traditional event has a history of more than 100 years. The original motivation behind it was to drive away evil spirits.
