In principle, applicants are required to apply for a visa by themselves. Should an applicant choose to enlist a third party or agent to handle the application, the applicant remains solely responsible for any misconduct, submission of fraudulent information, or uploading of false documents performed by the authorized person.

Before Applying for a Visa
Please review the following guidelines and requirements before submitting your visa application

1. Purpose of Visit : Please verify your purpose of visit carefully to select the appropriate visa category. Detailed information on visa types is available at www.thaievisa.go.th.
2. Passport Validity : Passports must have a remaining validity of at least six months. For applicants holding multiple nationalities, the nationality on the passport used must match the nationality specified in the application.
3. Contact Information: Applicants must provide a valid telephone number in China and use email addresses from the following providers only: @sina.com, @qq.com, @gmail.com, or @hotmail.com.
4. Passport Scanning Requirements :  It is strongly recommended that applicants upload scanned copies of every page (including blank pages) of the current passport, and their previous passports to facilitate the review process.
5. Quality of Photographs and Documents: Please ensure all biodata and photographs are accurate. Photographs must meet ICAO standards (frontal view, clear, and recent). Scanned documents must be of high resolution and clearly legible; the use of mobile phone photography for documents is strongly discouraged
6. Accuracy and Completeness of Information: Applicants must ensure that all personal information entered into the online e-Visa system matches the details in their passport exactly. All supporting documents must comply with the requirements listed on the official Thai e-Visa website (www.thaievisa.go.th) and the Royal Thai Embassy’s website. The Embassy reserves the right to cancel or reject any application containing incorrect or incomplete information without providing further justification. Please be advised that visa fees are non-refundable and non-waivable under any circumstances.
7. Consequences of False Information and Entry Rights: Providing false or misleading information may lead to a permanent visa refusal or denial of entry into the Kingdom of Thailand. Furthermore, possession of a valid visa does not guarantee entry into Thailand; the final decision regarding entry remains at the discretion of the Immigration Bureau and relevant authorities at the port of entry.
8. Physical Presence in Mainland China: Applicants must be physically present in Mainland China while their e-Visa application is being processed. This requirement ensures that applicants do not hold conflicting visa statuses before the new visa is granted. Failure to comply will result in the immediate rejection of the application.
9. Choosing the Visa Office: Applicants are advised to submit their applications to the relevant Thai visa office based on their current residential location as indicated in their supporting documents.
