How to determine if an MR is blocking another MR, or an MR is blocked by other MRs #3298

I was wondering if there was a better way in the API to do the following:

import gitlab
import pprint
gl = gitlab.Gitlab("GITLAB_REPO", private_token="PAT_TOKEN")
project_id, mr_iid = 11482, 132

# MRs that block this MR
blockers = gl.http_get(f"/projects/{project_id}/merge_requests/{mr_iid}/blocks")
print("BLOCKED BY:")
for b in blockers:
    pprint.pprint(b)
    
# MRs that this MR blocks
blockees = gl.http_get(f"/projects/{project_id}/merge_requests/{mr_iid}/blockees")
print("BLOCKS:")
for e in blockees:
    pprint.pprint(e)

This method does work, but I was wondering if there is a higher level API that does the same? If not, is this something the community would like added?
