Thanks for the update!

The "description" is, I believe, also what shows up in lists of projects, e.g., search results like https://pypi.org/search/?q=jupyter , the front-page lists of trending projects and new releases, and the list of projects you maintain within your account profile, e.g., https://pypi.org/user/jaraco/ .
