I'm Sai Asish, a Software Engineer who just finished his Master's in Computer Science at Stony Brook University. I'm passionate about full-stack engineering, performance optimization, and building software that real people use. I've shipped at scale across research labs (CUBIT and the Data Management & Biomedical Analytics Lab) and earlier at Nokia, and I've contributed merged pull requests to 150+ open source projects across the JavaScript, Python, Go, and Rust ecosystems. I am currently looking for SDE/ SWE New Grad / FTE roles and I am open to work. Also, I'm an open-source aficionado who relishes collaborating on hard engineering problems. Feel free to connect with me here:

Till May 4, 2026 idea was to volumize solving problems and filing PRs on a broad scale and see where AI is Lagging, breaking the chain in logic, speed and quality. From Today (May 5,2026) focus and Idea has been shifted to Quality > Volume, sorry for all the PRs that were duplicates, unresolved and broken unit tests that were not passing. I am trying to use my skills, thought processes and AI to effectively triage issues and resolve them for OSS.
