This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since 2015년 7월.

HTMLInputElement.multiple 속성은 입력이 여러 개의 값을 가질 수 있는지 여부를 나타냅니다. 현재 Firefox는 <input type="file">에 대해서만 multiple을 지원합니다.
